Lord of the Rings: The Argonath Environment

Miniature Environment by Weta

STOCK STATUS: In Stock, Ships Now!

Elven boats glide silently down the River Anduin, carrying the Fellowship of the Ring on their journey south toward Mordor. Secrecy abandoned, the companions must trust in the speed of the water to ferry them swiftly between steep cliffs and away from the hunters pursuing them.

Rounding a bend in the river all eyes rise to behold a spectacle seen by few, the mighty Argonath: The Pillars of the Kings. With feet planted as if gliding upon the water, two great statues rise far above with arms raised in challenge and weapons clutched tight to their chests. Crowns adorn their great grey heads while stone eyes gaze north in ceaseless vigilance. Hewn by many hands from living rock, the Argonath are carved in the likeness of the kings of old, Aragorn’s kin. In centuries past they guarded the boundary of ancient Gondor, standing immovable against the foes of Númenor; projections of the power and majesty of a people now all but gone.

“The 20th Anniversary of The Lord of The Rings movies has a special significance to us here at the Workshop, and we are delighted to commemorate the upcoming event with a brand-new series of iconic Middle-earth figures. Let the celebrations begin!” Richard Taylor – CEO & Co-founder, Weta Workshop

Winner of seventeen Academy Awards, The Lord of The Rings was brought to the big screen by New Line Cinema and directed by Peter Jackson. Weta Workshop was intrinsically involved in the design and manufacture of physical effects for all three films.

It takes hundreds of hours to design, sculpt model make, mold, and paint the prototype for each new Middle-earth piece. Whether it be a prop replica, beautiful environment or iconic character, we treat our collectibles with the same level of care and attention to detail that we bring to our film work.

Please note: This product was designed and prototyped here at Weta Workshop. Images are of a pre-production prototype. Each piece is painted by hand and some variations will occur.

This item is a Pre-Order! That means it is still in production and we do not yet know delivery costs. Delivery costs will not be shown in shopping cart or orders until the item is ready to ship.

Please note that by placing this order your deposit is non-refundable unless the manufacturer cancels production.

Most sixth scale figures come double-boxed automatically when purchased through Secret Compass! Most other dealers will slap a label right on the cardboard shipper and ship that way with no protection. Secret Compass recognizes the value in your collectible figure and we always double-box the cardboard shipper, which comes fresh out of a master case so it shows no sign of shipping before it ships to you.

Because this item still in production, we do not know the final weight or dimensions, or even how many boxes there will be. Therefore, we cannot give you an accurate quote for shipping. Actual shipping rates will be determined when the item is in stock, and will be reflected on your final invoice.
